And the funny thing is,   most people (like me) only see a fraction of it. That&#8217;s because the only road in goes as far as &#8220;Exit Glacier&#8221; and that&#8217;s where you can hike in to get fantastic views. But you have to hike. And there are bears. There was a cub right on the trail and when I stopped to give it some space,   I heard the mother in the bushes right next to us. Knowing this is a very dangerous situation,   I nudged my wife down the trail. As she was saying &#8220;why are you pushing me&#8221;, the mother and cub retreated. We were lucky, that time.
