National parks are a wonderful part of our county. Not only do the protect the natural environment, but they also they generate jobs and stimulate economies in nearby communities, support education, and provide family-friendly vacation options. We worked with the National Parks Conservation Association to illustrate why Congress needs to put an end to continuous yearly cuts that are damaging to our national parks and their visitors. National parks funding continues to be cut, while neglected project costs continue to balloon. This graphic illustrates some eye-opening stats while also showing just how important national parks are.
